We are also in danger of hiding our heads in the snow. A Trump third term will signal historical danger for Canada. We must not underestimate the significance of these times and prepare for the worst. Tariffs will be the least of our problems. We need a new, more aggressive mindset.

It was troubling to see US troops standing behind US VP JD Vance as he ranted about taking over Greenland during his recent visit. Here's an example of what professional soldiers should do when they hear political talk. www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03...

Watching US House Intel Cttee host US intelligence leaders. ODNI Tulsi Gabbard is proving to be a shallow, uninformed, trophy. Patel (FBI) and Ratcliffe (CIA) are apparently much more capable in and 'get' their mandates. Gabbard looks like a deer caught in headlights.

Watching the US House Intel Cttee hearing with US intel leaders. The two USAF Generals seem to be infected with the Trump virus and seemingly can’t answer fully and honestly.

I just watched CNN interview Chris Hadfield about the returning US astronauts. There was no reference to the fact that he was a Canadian.

Great. With Trudeau gone there are no more creepy congratulatory hugs when ministers are sworn in.

You and the panelists are virtually incomprehensible. Stop trying to say six words at once. Slow down and make sense. Don’t interrupt each other.

Two points. First, Trump can fuck off. Second, why haven’t our political leaders told Trump publicly to fuck off?

@davidwcochrane.bsky.social Stop using such a negative, pessimistic tone in today’s interviews. You can make the same points in a more neutral way.

@chrystia-freeland.bsky.social Great job on CNN. We fight. No surrender.

I’m thinking that this whole tariff thing is simply Trump’s dislike of Trudeau, and how he felt slagged by Trudeau after trade agreement decisions during his first term.

You CBC folks are showing too much doom and gloom. Things are bad but let’s not give up. Premier Furey has got it right. Barton needs to stop being a worry-wart. Talk about what we can and should do.

For a country with so many smart, impressive people, it amazes me how collectively stupid they can be. Their government is now immoral, dishonest, and lacks moral fibre. Trump will make the US an international pariah if Americans don’t get rid of him. This is what you get if good people stay silent.

Point one, Trump can kiss my Canadian ass. Point two, our constitutional monarchy is a useless, anachronistic relic. Point three, Trudeau is a stalled car in the fast lane. Poilievre is clearly out of his depth. We’re leaderless, just when we need a Chrétien or Harper. We must get our shit together.

I'm new to this platform and wish to add a learned and mature view of things from up north. Kiss my Canadian ass, Trump. You're a fucking idiot!
