The American Chemical Society introduces the Article Development Charge (ADC), a flat $2,500 for zero-embargo deposit of AAMs.

ADCs join ACS's existing paid routes to Open Access: Article Processing Charges (APC), APCs with Special Country Pricing, and R&P agreements.
