I have a deep personal hatred for locks where the turn is not horizontal when it's in the locked position? Like it should always be horizontal when locked because it's parallel to the engaged bolt, and also you generally turn locks to the right which is the same direction that the bolt extends

We tried to teach our puppy how to play dead when we make a finger gun gesture and say bang, but we're not very good at training so now that's the command for her to slowly walk over to us and flop down on our lap

Lately my coworker has been talking about how lonely and isolating it is to get a job and move to a new city where you don't know anyone, and that's made me realize that most people don't have a bevy of internet clown friends to hang out with 24/7 on discord

I will get my 49 in 2025. It was my goal when i started speedrunning years ago and not having achieved it yet sits in the back of my mind. It's right in front of me and it has been for a long time. 2025 will be the year of settling unfinished business

My headphones have a long, poorly shielded cable, and it constantly catches the short wave radio signal of the official atomic time of canada broadcast, so while using my computer I always just hear *beep* *beep* *beep* "CHU CANADA. COORDINATED UNIVERSAL TIME. 2 HOUR 20 MINUTES" in the background
