While I am dissapointed by this personally, I do get why they're doing it.
Mainly, it'll be to keep costs down at launch, and not scare folks off with a high entry price or split SKUs.
That said, LCD panels have become MUCH better since the original Switch launched.

Only disappointment I have is oled not being standard. Feels bonkers going backwards.
