In Donkey Kong 64, the Giant Spider miniboss can only be fought once. Modifying the game to fight it a second time makes it unceremoniously explode. While this appears to be a glitch, examining the code reveals it was actually deliberately added for the developers' own amusement.

Apparently it's been 3 years since SJ came out... and I've been playing through the mod for almost 2 years...

I was gonna submit Shantae to PAX East GDQ this year, but I've decided not to anymore. I've done two different Shantae games over there for the past two years. While those events have been fun, speedrunning is not really something I'm wanting to focus on right now.

It's so funny that the Wheel of Not Ideal (my level chooser for SJ) chose not only the hardest yellow GM map, Dreep, as my first yellow GM, but also the hardest red GM, summit, as my first red GM. Knowing my luck, it'll land on Pumber as my first cracked GM and I am so not ready
