GAINING DAYLIGHT: We will gain more daylight by the end of the month! In the ArkLaTex and much of Louisiana, we will gain 40 minutes of daylight in February. Sunset & sunrise will become later in a little over one month with the start of Daylight Saving Time. #louisiana #texas #arkansas #daylight

COUSHATTA EARTHQUAKE: A weak earthquake was just reported to the east of Coushatta, LA, right off of US-71 near the Natchitoches Parish line. This comes one week after another weak quake was reported in Coushatta. If you were near the epicenter, did you feel the earthquake? #lawx #louisiana

The Geminids meteor shower peaks Sat. night into Sun. morning! Visibility could be iffy as some will be dealing with cloud cover. Temps will stay in the 50s for much of the night. Best viewing time will be from 1-3 AM early Sunday morning. We will see 30-40 meteors/hr! #geminids #meteorshower #lawx
