It’s official, SVP-FDP-Mitte parliamentary majority has broken the tradition of Swiss IC, the largest budget cut as of today.

2025 budget has a CHF 250 millions cut in IC, end funds to UNRWA and limit Ukrainian Asylum scope.

Saving will be reallocated to a still-to-be defined military spending.

Just a thought on the current right-wing political turmoil appearing in almost all of Europe, the USA and in some Latin-American states. Perhaps is becoming more and more appropriate to name it as a point reference in history.

Next weeks, the Swiss Parliament votes the 2025 budget which has cuts of CFH 250 mil for international cooperation, specifically:

-147,7 mil in developments and cooperation.
- 52,3 mil in contribution to multilateral organizations.
- 50 mil to the Secretary of State for economic cooperation.

Social Media is going to be regulated midterm in the EU due to the threat that represents to the aims and values, and principle of the EU.

Tik Tok probably will comply, X unlikely. Thus, Bsky will be an advanced twitter by de facto.
