This past May, I closed my private practice as a trauma therapist due to EXTREME burnout. My body couldn’t hold any more sacred stories of suffering, and it was starting to threaten all aspects of my life, including my sobriety. 1/5
As a startup small business, not much work comes in because my name isn’t out there just yet. If went back to being a trauma therapist, I’d have a full schedule NEXT WEEK!
I sold my old nightstands to pay some bills and thought “well, I can just make my own” so I did!

She’s talking about us. Today, soooooooo many conversations with God have happened between, through and for us. It’s been beautiful. This quote from @kjramseywrites.bsky.social desckribes the love we experience with each other: “When we don’t have words, we need a witness. We need with-ness.”
This day has been absolutely chock-full of signs of God’s care. And not just for me, for others, too—it’s like we keep “Yes, and—“ -ing what the other person has shared. Complementary messages.
