Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.

I just want to put this on record here for myself in posterity as a Democrat who volunteered in donated in 2018, 2020, & 2022, that literally the only thing that changed in 2024 was Gaza. And it lost us a close election. They'll try to tell you otherwise. But we lost to Trump for Israel.

So Bsky behaviour to quote is to showcase to your followers.
Last year the replies wouldn't show up, and we have options to switch off replies appearing in following feed.
Now that some form of twitter culture is seeping in, it's a good reminder, if you feel it's a dunk, use detach quote.

These days I'm not much of a quote dunker so if I quote your post it's always me saying "Hey everyone look at this cool and interesting thing someone said!"

By that I mean people who don't like Musk Twitter but aren't Zuck fans either & have no interest in more Meta time.
