In June of 2024 my first borns friend was found murdered/decomposing in the Frankfird section of Philadelphia. Her name was Anna. This was the only news story about her- even after she was later identified. Until today. 6abc.com/post/frankfo...

Boys and I voted in Philly. Hope it helps. And yes we voted dem (mostly) & yes on retaining our supreme court judges. There was one race we voted for a dem who ran as a republican. We’re complicated like that.

I finally buried Chewbecca today (she passed over two weeks ago)... used my largest sized flower pot from outside. But keeping her inside since her coffin is glass jar. Repotted a jade plant above her. She's next to Boris in the window sill. 😞

This little guy (tomato hornworm) and his buddy (not pictured, but found in an empty outdoor critter food dish this afternoon) have been munching on my creeping trumpet vine all week and leaving little poops and empty stems (also not pictured) as evidence. Today was the first time I could see them.

Proud mommy moment- I just dropped Luke off for his first day at his first job… it’s at a deli/restaurant and one of his best friends will training him. I hope he enjoys it.

Found a slug in the fridge. Wondering what produce he came in on… and like all living things I find in the house that don’t belong, I released this guy into a flower pot outside.

Heartbroken. Chewbee (Chewbecca) passed this morning… I will miss her something fierce. She was the perfect hamster and she really loved her organic yogurt…

Chewbecca isn’t doing well. Won’t eat, but took some pumpkin baby food mixed w/water from a bottle, & I gave her water w/cucumber chunks in another bottle. She’s colder than normal so I used the kitten heating pad to keep her warm. I also have to clean off her hard poohs from her butt. 🥺
