(What will it take to stop calling McKenzie Scott “the ex-wife of jeff”? I mean, really!)Anyway, MacKenzie Scott continues to make a difference for many HBCUs. Voorhees University in Denmark SC recently received $19million after a $4million gift from her in 2020. She makes a ginormous difference!

Her killer was a red flag poster boy.

Today, July 30, is the birthday of Reverend Clementa C. Pinckney. He died in the 2015 Emanuel AME church attack in Charleston. A titan of a man, Clementa preached his first sermon at 13 and pastored his first church at 18.
