a bunch of government goons from ICE/HSI showed up to an elementary school in DC this morning and tried to detain a staff member in the parking lot but the person's colleagues intervened and stopped it and let that be a reminder to all of us that we can do that

It's a revealing window into class and regionalism how extremism in the American West has been written off for decades as a local problem, just a place where the wackos collect. Really it's been a training ground and fertile soil for these ideologies to grow, expand and take over.

Some wicked inversion yesterday in Upper Missouri River country. Black ice still down in town while melting frost and snow dripped from trees in the inversion zone. You could smell the change on the way up before you even felt the temperature jump.
