It’s BEYOND silly that to do my laundry, I have to withdraw cash from an ATM, bring the cash with me to the laundromat, fight with the machine to convert it into quarters, and then argue with the coin-op washing machine to accept my quarters

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple TV+ was built and launched with an Immersive service in mind for down the road. They've been getting their feet wet in the world of tv/film production/distribution for five years
To be successful, Apple should launch an immersive content streaming platform with cross-platform compatibility like Apple Music. The best experience will be Apple software on Apple hardware (Vision Pro) but this unlocks revenue in a small hardware market - Apple Immersive on Meta Quest, PSVR2, etc.
