This is done in a moss stitch (single stitch into space, chain one) which creates nice sawtooth stripes on 2 rows.

My original plan was to create a pillow front to sew a case onto. Another lesson I learned is that it’s probably easier to begin and end a project with crochet than to jam a rug through the sewing machine- let it be what it is.

I learned so much about crochet with this first major project, including how to better read stitches, how to *actually* slip-stitch sew, and just how much much fabric 900yds of yarn can work up.

I just got to the start of TNG Season 5. Great cliffhanger, the timeline stuff is only mildly confusing, I love that Guinan is the temporal regulator- very sick job.
Not super invested in the Klingon Empire- their whole job is to be corny and irritating.
