Many things about the Supreme Court puzzle me. This is one. Why let an action go forward when it will be nearly impossible to reverse? Where is the harm in keeping things as they are until a decision is made? If they find using the AEA is legitimate, the Venezuelans can then be deported.

I’m not generally interested in awards shows, but I noticed #Conclave got a few Oscar nominations today. That makes me happy. It was my favorite film of last year. Ralph Fiennes’s performance was fantastic.

As administrations change, I’m taking a few minutes to be thank Dean Philips. The former congressman told America Biden should not be nominated. He tried to get others (Pritzker, Whitmer) to run; none would. So he bravely stepped up. It’s a shame more of us didn’t pay attention. 1/2
