Over a decade ago I was going through a terrible time, and I couldn’t draw, but I had a compulsion to mark make for months. I wonder if it was hypergraphia?
I’ve been scanning them for use in work and it’s really clicked. It’s given everything a real handmade touch.

Here's an animatic/ short animation I made close to 20 years ago in university.
I think it was originally supposed to just be static shots to create a proof of concept animatic for pitching, but I really wanted it to work as an animation.

Going forward in 2026 I need to make a conscious effort to draw everyday.
I’m warming up in my sketchbook everyday before I start work on projects, especially to take the stiffness out the initial drawings and so that I have a good flow going.
