I will give Suozzi more credit than he gives himself. He knew what the vote was. He just figured the way to "win" was to support the funding because that's more "centrist" and buck the Democratic majority. But morally, he knew what this was about. He ended up wrong morally AND politically.

Since Trump doesn't seem to know the difference, let us make it clear:

1. It’s called CLIMATE change, not weather change. The climate is still warming over a long period of time even when it's cold outside.

2. Climate change is making extreme weather events, including winter storms, more intense.

16 years ago, the Supreme Court allowed unlimited political spending by corporations and wealthy special interests.

If we want power back in the hands of the people, we need Justices who will overturn #CitizensUnited and get big money out of politics.

A federal judge appeared deeply skeptical of the legality of Trump's scheme to circumvent congressional oversight to build his ballroom.

The over two dozen corporate donors backing the project may not see their pay-to-play plans play out.

This ballroom is starting to crumble.

Vermont and Massachusetts are going beyond 30x30 conservation goals.

While Trump and Big Oil are looking to destroy more public lands, voters are saying they want to protect them.

Liar Trump claims there was “no inflation” during his first term.

Reality check: consumer prices rose about 8% from the first day of his term to the last day, with an inflation rate of 2.46%.

Truth matters. Spread it around.

But don't worry! You can still pay the $100 deposit for a non-existent phone.

Is this the latest edition of the Trump family's scams and ripoffs?

It was a cheap partisan ploy to obstruct the democratic process.
