New Coyote?
Our invitation cards, placed in areas where people are alone with their thoughts. As people discover them and scan, they are taken to the dedication page. This capsule represents living witness trees to a growing forest. A way to protect the earth while honoring lives lost.

This tiny time capsule will be planted at Jackson Earth on an area we call, Jelani’s corner. Jelani was 15 when he passed from a rare kidney cancer. Elizabeth and Tiffany are the two latest trees to be added to Jelani’s corner, where the trees will act as living witnesses to the growing forest.

The trim on the weather station is needed first. Today, I hope to use the auger to finish the final posts for the pergola, move the cistern for harvesting water, if there is time, connect the gutters. Only have 8 hours today and the list is longer than posting. Body Ian on eastcoast time

The primitive road in was unrecognizable in some places but we still made it: did not get much accomplished yesterday missing some essential tools, but the hardware store opens at 6am. Fatigued from travel. ,

For now it is peaceful and calm. The day of arrival, rain… of course a new challenge to the limited time I will have to get things done. Will share images of the wash, will we make it to the property? Mystery to me, but we will see.

Nice sunrise, but now that the container has served the initial purpose, I am wondering what to do with it. Hydroponics, power and utilities, root cellar? I am willing to move the container now, but what should I do with it? I’m open to suggestions.

At the oncologist, Jackson is looking for his brother. This chemo for my son is extremely rough. It is hard to even look at him right now because he looks like he has been in a fire. His poor face is 2/3 scabbed. His skin is red. He says he does not want chemo any more but we made him. #cancer
