Well I’m finally here. I’m Jack Roberts, I had a fifteen minutes of fame in the tech space last summer where I found the original iPhone wallpaper on iOS 16 beta 3.

Now Apple’s .2 release is finally available. For the time being, I’m going to stop on stable for a while unless .3 beta 1 brings something so excellent that I have to try it.

iOS 18.2 now enables RCS for O2 UK, I went the about page in settings and a dialog appeared for carrier settings update, tapped update and sure enough RCS support. Ironically I was looking to see if it had been added, before I did the update it hadn’t.

The new rumors about the iPhone 17 lineup seem confusing. Apparently, the Pro iPhones are switching from Titanium to Aluminum, just like the non-Pro iPhones. How Apple will differentiate the Pro and non-Pro iPhones in 2025 remains a mystery?

Had a waste-of-time hospital appointment today, and I don’t know if it’s just me who thinks this, but having flashing Christmas lights in a hospital is a VERY bad idea. Fair enough to have decorations up for Christmas, but lights that are flashing, NO!!

I’ve never seen the Visual Intelligence icon before. (Coming in December in iOS 18.2 for iPhone 16s)

Good evening everyone well today I got three out of my four items. The only item I didn’t get was the Apple Watch Ultra 2. It’s supposed to be coming tomorrow but the courier hasn’t even received it yet. So I’m doubtful 🤷♂️

I’ve been using the betas since WWDC and whilst I wouldn’t really say there are tonnes of mind-blowing changes, there’s a tonne of smaller features, tweaks and changes here and there to make the experience even better and to fill in the gaps of features that people have been wanting for years.

With just 48 hours until iOS 17 launches, I’ve enjoyed using the betas over the summer. I probably will be sticking on the stable builds for a few weeks to enjoy my new iPhone and to have some time away from checking for updates. #Apple #iOS17 #iPhone
