Proud of myself! I stuck with it! The early manuscript went through quite the journey: shortlisting with Penguin books, 1 to 1s, then lived in a drawer until I had the skill to complete it. 3 years later!!!!

Sometimes we need these little moments of peace. Later in the day the place will belong to dogs chasing seagulls, toddlers splashing in the shallows, dog walkers and picnic blankets. For now it belongs to the early risers, the wild swimmers, and the gulls. #scotland #thisishome

Good luck to all #pitchfest writers out there! I remember the feeling of "likes" and comments. It is wonderful to feel that support - to get a feeling for if your story is working. However, don't despair if there's no agent like. There can be many reasons behind that. Enjoy the event and support ❤️
