Initial @campaignforthearts.org analysis suggests the #ScottishBudget is even better for arts and culture than the Government comms suggest. They are heralding a £34 million increase, but Arts spending will rise by £43m next year and the overall culture budget by £42m, according to Budget docs.
The overall culture budget will increase by £42 million (14%) next year.

There will be an extra:
💸 £27m for Creative Scotland to fund arts organisations
🖼️ £13m for the National Collections
🎥 £2m for Screen Scotland
🎭 £1m for the National Performing Companies
