Had a dream where I was really tired, like half asleep (so I guess I was 3/2 asleep?) and I got a strange text from shadow the hedgehog that I didn’t understand and tried to reply “?” to, but I accidentally mistyped “:3” instead, and he just replied “No.” or some equally blunt rejection of my cringe

So are there any post about closed captions and subtitles, because when I looked for feeds with the term “captions” it seemed like everything was porn and I feel like I’m probably the stupid one for not knowing why that is

Why’s Minecraft xp “xp”? you’re telling me the knowledge and skills I gained from my experience are being absorbed into my sword to hit harder? And now said experience is just… gone? I think calling it something like “mana”, “aether”, or even just “enchantment points” would make more sense

![“Here are some sketches of my take on Heart, Mind, & Soul from Chonny’s Charming Chaos Compendium, I’ve been thinking up of these for a while and I’m still not sure if these are necessary “final” (whatever that means in this context) but I’m pretty happy with them, I wanted to make designs that were different from the usual while making use of key thematic elements. If you’re wondering “why is chonny a bunny?” It’s 90% because I just like drawing anthros and 10% from that one backwards “he’s a jackrabbit” line from the original ruler of everything (that I don’t think is even in the cover), of course the outlier here is soul that is a hybrid rabbit and lion (though admittedly he might look more like a goat or something), I wanted to do a The Wizard of Oz thing, Heart being the scarecrow without a brain, Mind being the Tinman without a heart, and mostly due to process of elimination Soul is the cowardly lion (and maybe also kinda Dorthy?) Big design inspirations were of course the music videos and album covers, and I think most obviously calamarispider’s art for the music video of Jash’s cover of “memento mori: the most important thing in the world” was a big inspiration for soul, also digimon was a bit of an inspiration as well somewhat directly and somewhat subconsciously. If anyone made it past this essay and has any suggestions for these designs I’d love to hear them!”

I went outside of my usual style and took more time then I often do and while it’s not perfect as I admittedly have very little experience with line art, I’m very happy with the result :D

I just realized I’ve recently missed an opportunity to use the word “whimsy”, and I am VERY disappointed in myself

I just realized I’ve recently missed an opportunity to use the word “whimsy”, and I am VERY disappointed in myself
the fact that their is no full length portal VR game (with the portals mechanic) is infuriating, people have come close but as impressive as those things are they aren’t enough to satiate my hunger, and I’m not smart or patient enough to do it myself (though I have certainly tried)
