I have a fixation with time and panic when I do not know the correct time. It's so bad that my desktop clock, wrist watch and phone all sync up with the Atomic clock. It's like my job is my life, my life is my job and I'm disabled and have not worked in 20 years. There should be more to life than ⏳.

What kind of fucked up people we must be to have to literally pass laws and amend our Constitution in order to treat fellow humans as fellow humans? And how much more fucked up we must be to try and undo those laws? The ideals taught to me as a child no longer apply to today. It makes me sad.

We're taught to reduce a number to the lowest common denominator. We're never shown how to reduce a conversation to the lowest common denominator. Break something down in bite sized morsels. We usually take a turkey leg and beat people in the head with it. Find the lowest common denominator. Be kind

Maybe I should've thought before selecting an insurance company that has their logo on my doctor's lab coat and has two commercials every commercial break telling me my healthcare doesn't have to be a big deal while making everything a big deal. Sometimes the incoming information overwhelms me. All the negativity and the seeds of the destruction of our freedoms that have been planted overloads my heart. It hurts. It hurts for my Country, for those who are about to become disenfranchised by the burgeoning autocracy we see. I need to rest.

Today I feel lost, confused and afraid. I'm sitting in the house of a friend, @espn.com on and trying to center my focus on the Knicks/Sixers. I need an anchor or I feel I will lose what little sanity I have left. For those who dislike sports, they are made for this reason: purposeful distraction.

I decided to watch my first NBA game of the season today and to be honest, it's boring. Three point shooting contests should be confined to All Star weekend, not wasting my time on a Tuesday. BOOOORRING!!

The cognitive dissonance that must exist in the minds of those who donate their own money to feed people in other countries yet deny the programs that feed people here. And let's stop calling it "food insecurity". Never once have I said "Man, I'm food insecure". It's called hunger. Remember that.
