For reference, Venezuela has been occupied by Russia and China for a few years now, under the pretense of "cooperation", but it's because Venezuela paid some of its national debt by giving away oil refineries and land to both of them. Now it's going to be interesting to see if the US takes them.

I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.

Bombing has ceased for now, but there is a lot of national call to action and mobilization. There's troops, militia and armored vehicles. What I find strange is that they did not bomb the Palace of Miraflores which is -the- hotzone of the government.
