I find it funny that my dad always warned me that if I kept dyeing my hair people wouldn’t “take me seriously”. The number of times I’ve received compliments about my hair and especially people from his generation I find very funny but also very sweet.

As a fellow purple haired, Mohawk wearing weirdo, I can affirm the responses. I dyed my hair 3 years ago. I get daily compliments. Especially older women. They absolutely love it.
