Yes, Dot demands to hike in his Pimp Coat when it's under a certain temp. He's a [fabulous] old man, so he gets to make the rules! There's other coats. But he much prefers this one. 🙃

After too many brutally hot days, the temperature dropped 30 degrees overnight. The boys and I were thrilled to get back into the woods to decompress from the world at large. Bonus points for only finding 1 tick on each of them; very nearly a miracle!

We're very saddened to announce that Julie's medical issues flared badly, and she demanded release on the 19th, 4 days after her 14th birthday. We're thankful her quality of life was so good until her final week, but we're all staggering with sadness, and will be for a bit.
