Absolutely delighted for Ibrahima Konate captaining France tonight. Went through a tough time last season due in the main to injuries, with consequent loss of form. His quality was never in doubt. A winner & leader. Ready made VVD successor & future captain already on our books.👊🔴

Assuming (hoping🙏) we beat Southampton this day week & hence have opportunity to go eight clear of City this day fortnight with a win, how should Slot approach the Real game in terms of team selection & rotation etc?

Holding midfielder. Any one of Tchouameni, Zubimendi, Baleba, or Varela. Potential gamechanger to sustain any title challenge. I’d love a left sided defender too (Kerkez or Hincapie).
