Got this enormous Sony KV-30HS420 today with help from @itst3k.bsky.social. Weighs over 150 lbs but it's 1080i HD & has an HDMI port which is weird to see on a CRT TV. The picture is absolutely beautiful in person. So crisp, but so difficult to photograph. Worth over $900 but got it for super cheap.

This book was published in 1996 and has very detailed instructions for repairing hundreds of things found in American homes in the 90s.
This is literally #iFixit before the Internet and a lot of this book is actually still useful information.

first print to fully go wrong! Gotta keep an eye on the settings for these things.

Digging around in a box of PCMCIA cards I bought for super cheap. Found the old “Gold Standard” of WiFi cards.
