I should do one of those intro posts. Instead, I am writing a post about how I should write one and will pin it to shame me into actually writing one.
I was down and out today, besides meeting with the glass person for the shower door. The flu and COVID vaccines are no joke this year. Better that than the 3 weeks of COVID I endured in early 2024. That was the last time I was properly sick, not including my cancer and treatment complications.

Sooo, I spent over a week and close to $100 in those large format actual paint samples only to ultimately choose the paint my contractor initially suggested weeks ago for my bathroom.

The Grammys didn't even nominate #Expedition33. If anyone needed anymore proof the Grammys are the biggest sham of all the awards. The fact that games don't have their own category alone is a joke in itself.

Additional thoughts: The fight choreography is as good as always. Sometimes the effects felt awesome, sometimes uncanny. (But it's TV, and people forget that. It's not always going to be amazing, and I'd rather that than what HBO did excluding 5 scenes for 2 better-looking scenes). #TheWitcher
Thoughts overall: The Rats felt off. Mistle especially. It led to a poor change in Ciri's characterization through that arc. Leo is great, however. I think Thronebreaker did a better job with Meve. I liked the rest! I loved the mage/Lodge arc especially.

I finished the last few episodes yesterday. I liked #InteriorChinatown overall, but the meta narrative felt much stronger earlier in the series than in the finale.
I haven't read the book, so I didn't know how it compares. I might add it to my reading list, however.

I finished the last few episodes yesterday. I liked #InteriorChinatown overall, but the meta narrative felt much stronger earlier in the series than in the finale.

Adding to this, I have problems with certain mechanics with my disability. I've tried to use my controller's left stick for more movement capability than what left+right-clicking with my good hand offers, but the ataxia in my thumb causes my movement to wobble. So I tend to get clipped. #ffxiv
I just want to finish it and get to an aetherpool level where I don't have to deal with MCHs acting like it's their personal solo run when it's the first time for the rest of us in a set.
