Every time I attend a traditional ceremony I always make a point of chatting with boomers and getting as much information as possible from them about "the culture of the day."
Today I learnt quite a bit about the Abasuba culture and I was also school about my own 😅

That was the exact sentiment during the maandamano wave. For the first time in our generation people from different social classes were in the streets protesting together. The protests ceased being a lower-class affair and we all experienced violence and brutality at the hands of police.
