From @desmos.com graph to Tinkercad to a phyical 3D printed object. My first 3D print of a Desmos project. I added a loop in Tinkercad so that I could add a string and hang it. #ITeachMath @edtechcocek.bsky.social

When I was on @looksunfamiliar.bsky.social I chose this sequence from a 1979 Sesame Street episode - probably the first time I ever heard Philip Glass was this exclusive piece he wrote for this animated sequence, Geometry of Circles. It's never appeared anywhere else.

old rule: all updates may only be pushed out at 8 am local time.

I am not interrupting my workflow to update my software at random 1:21 in the afternoon

A chess piece planned in @desmos.com, designed in Tinkercad, and printed on a 3D printer. I’m hoping to have my Calculus 12 students design their own chess pieces this year as we explore volumes of rotation. @edtechcocek.bsky.social #ITeachMath

How useful are for LLM's teaching proof? Check out this paper from Carnegie Mellon by Eason Chen et all

TL;DR:
Improves HW but not Exams
Supports low self efficacy students

Would love the opportunity to play with some of these.
