It’s shark awareness day! I’ve had the chance to dive with sharks a couple of times and it’s not enough. They’re amazing animals that deserve our respect and protection.

Found out my youngest was exposed to measles at daycare (was able to have one MMR dose already). From the bottom of my heart, fuck every single person who instilled doubt in vaccines, or refused to vaccinate. There’s a special place in hell for those who put our youngest and most vulnerable at risk.

RFK clearly doesn’t understand what autism is, but his stupidity aside, even people who can’t use the toilet on their own deserve to live and be accommodated in society to live their best lives. When did we lose sight of that? Human beings shouldn’t be treated like shit because they’re different.

Just amazed at Cory Booker’s stamina and ability to give an actual speech for over 24 hours. I would have been reading Animorph books dramatically and occasionally pausing to ask Ben Stiller if he would direct an Animorph series on Apple TV between seasons of Severance. You know. For democracy.

The discourse around “vaccines cause autism” is wild to me. First of all, THEY DON’T. Second, even if they did, I’d still vaccinate my kids because I’d rather have them be neurodivergent like me than dead from a preventable disease. Vaccines save lives, are safe, and don’t cause autism.

Listening to mashups from the Eras tour, and realizing I’m fine not being able to go live because if I had been stuck next to someone screaming the wrong lyrics out of key I think I would have thrown hands. Would love a studio album of the mashups though.

Watching Blue Planet 2 with 4 and he told me that he helps ocean animals by cutting the plastic off of them and putting it in the garbage. If everyone could be as empathetic as my preschooler we’d be so much better off.

I feel stupid for genuinely hoping that they would actually abide by the 14th amendment. He’s actually going to be president again. I feel physically ill.
