A Northern Pintail, look at that gold shimmer. These guys are known as the “Greyhounds of the Skies”, not only are they fast flyers, they fly long distances incredibly fast. One flew from Labrador to England in just 9 days. Faster than Canada Air. #ducks #birds #wildlife #photographer #canon
I was laying down taking some shots of Black Oystercatchers, when this female Brewers Blackbird landed about 5 feet in front of me. I think it was trying to figure out what the heck I was up to. It hung out for about a minute and figured out I wasn’t that exciting and left 🤣
