#needlepoint can be done camera off in meetings… I see potential for increasing crafting hours. Plus some Brick Stitch for a change of pace.

Like many crafters in this space, I was looking for an alternative to doom scrolling. The news keep coming. Ofall the horrifying things, the brutal attacks on our Trans community upset me the most. So. Here’s some lousy #needlepoint jammed with love. #love #trans #ally

Giving #Needlepoint a spin this weekend. Do not hate the incredible uniformity of the stitches. This is something I really struggle with in #embroidery. But rawdogging this design without marking the canvas is kinda wild. #wip

I started this one a while back, inspired by a photo of moss here on Bluesky. I stalled out, unhappy with the first little tendril thingie. This morning I just got them done. Ooh, said my friend, Broccoli!! #embroidery #nature

When the boys were small, I had them write their names and embroidered them onto Christmas stockings. #2 was very young, and a few years later decided he could do a better job. Time to finally embroider this side. So I can wash it! #wip #embroidery

Velvet thread is awesome but such a pain in the ass to thread. I may redo with two strands on the stalks. Still figuring it out. #wip #embroidery #moss
