The difference between a million and a billion:

1 million seconds is 11.5 days

1 billion seconds is 11574 days

The world does not need billionaires.

Being a billionaire should be a crime against humanity.

Just received this photo from a friend of a warehouse in Kinshasa. These are tuberculosis medications--ALREADY PAID FOR--that aren't being distributed due to the Trump Administration's stop work order.
TB treatment is being interrupted in SO many patients around the world. What does that mean? (1/2)

This Day in Labor History: February 3, 1908. The Supreme Court decided the case of Loewe v. Lawlor. In it, it declared that unions violated the Sherman Anti-Trust Act by calling for a secondary boycott in solidarity with a strike. Once again, the Supreme Court was the enemy of the working class!

You say: they shutdown USAID.

You mean: they illegally broke in to a secure facility over a weekend, hijacked sensitive data on vulnerable people and US businesses, destroyed property Americans paid for, cut off resources for sick and hungry families, and fired Americans across the country.

* Google Drive - ubíquo, funcional, conectado
* OnlyOffice - tipo o LibreOffice mas mais bonito, a interface parece mais com a do Office. Comandos só em inglês.

Trump claims crime at all time high, which is a lie. Homicides were at 5.66 when Trump took office and 7.22 in 2020 when he lost the election. It was back down to 6.61 by 2023 with early data showing big decrease in 2024. The highest murder states are Republican: MS, LA, AL.

My name is Domingo and I believe in fair pay for nursing. I have written to my parliamentary representative (Larry the Cat) requesting they support direct negotiations with the RCN on NHS nursing pay in England.

Recently took a peek at Twitter and the disinformation is getting substantially more dangerous. Someone could get killed.

The tactics of constantly repeating outright lies, targeting specific people, repurposing years-old footage and presenting them as new is getting to another level. It’s scary.

When it comes to improving life for the working class in this country, what do I hear? “No, no, no, we can’t afford it.”

But when it comes to the military-industrial complex? “Yes, yes, yes” – with almost no debate.

Congress needs to get its priorities straight.
