The U.S. Supreme Court has lost its way. Never before have we witnessed such a fickle body, rolling over as the very pillars of our democracy collapse. This Court must remain beholden only to the rule of law—not to any demagogue, nor to any ideology.

Nearly 23 years ago, I confided in this man that I had been abused by a Catholic priest. Rather than offering compassion, he told me, “Young kids have very imaginative imaginations. Sometimes they think things happened to them when they haven’t. I’ll pray for you.” I told him to go fuck himself.

The U.S. must stand firm against Putin’s aggression to protect Ukraine and safeguard European stability. If we falter, Poland and other former Soviet states could be at risk, endangering our NATO allies and global security. Now is the time to defend democracy.
