Something I can try is starting my sketches with the same warm up every time. Maybe other artists do this. Just trying to break my fear of starting with something familiar every time.

Shout out to traditional artists and draftsmen. I don’t know how you people make your work look so GOOD. I’m trying to do traditional since I don’t have an iPad right now, but man it looks like garbage. I keep messing up, wobbly lines, etc. We really take our digital toolset for granted.

I should probably admit that I’m completely codependent on someone else being by my side and I don’t know how to change that. Hence why I keep going to others for help and support even though I’m smart enough to know what’s wrong with me and what I need to do. I just can’t do it alone.

Not sure if it’s the answer I’m looking for, but I really wish the various therapists and psychiatrists I’ve worked with throughout my life would’ve straight up told me, “Oh yeah, you’re autistic.” I’m constantly on that weird line of questioning whether I am or not. 😕
