"Mari Lwyd" 2025

I've always loved this weird Welsh wassailing custom (probably because it's an excuse to put up skeleton decorations around Christmas). I'm early for Christmas, but I figured I'd put it up for spooky season!

During a conversation about feral things we did as children, a friend told me a story about how she would assemble salads out of backyard weeds and feed them to the "spirits". The concept tickled my imagination.

I recently partnered with Puzzle Twist to make a fairytale monster-themed puzzle. You can now find it on the Puzzle Twist website (titled "MythFits") and at stores such as Fox Den Books! Fair warning: the puzzle itself isn't quite what's on the box.
