i'm not going outta my way to watch every anime or anything but of the titles i've watched, journal with witch might end up being my fave for this winter anime season. i just love stories about grief what can i say 🤷♀️

while writing this i wanted to avoid using terms like "androgynous" or "masculine" to describe maiko since it really is a bitch that women will get called that just cause they don't go out of their way to put on makeup and look presentable at all times.
one thing i love about journal with witch is that the main two characters aren't overly feminine and i mean in terms of appearance and not necessarily in how they dress. like asa has a pixie cut and maiko is a total slob who wears a lot of comfy and loose outfits which hide her figure.

i've been going thru s1 of brba painfully slow cause the moment my concentration wanes from 100% to 99% i immediately watch something else cause i want to be absorbing as much info as possible

btw the reason i stopped during the pandemic even though i had a shit ton of free time is cause i didn't have the mental bandwidth for it. every once in a while, i'll watch a show for the sole purpose of analyzing it. just cause it's fun and with brba i've been writing some noted lol.
i've been rewatching breaking bad which i have not down since the show first ended. well no. i did try rewatching sometime around the pandemic which got derailed by the pandemic. but anyways. the show feels a bit dated now. not in a bad way though. it just screams 2008 or at least early s1.
