Reconnected with a young man, now a father, who I mentored in my sword fighting faire days. Not sure if it was harder for me to tell him the news of my incoming end, or for him to hear it.

Today's big win was old coworker/friends from the @alleninstitute.org who graciously volunteered some of today to come over and help sort out the old crow's nest as I really can't now.
I often battle loneliness dealing with what's happening to me, but today I was reminded I wasn't alone.

#Art from the final #book in my #fantasy series I'm #writing; A Bedtime Tale, which will feature #illustration by me as well.
This is the 1st art I've done since my stroke. To say it was hard is not fibbing in the least. And it's not good. But, baby steps I suppose.
