A breath of fresh air to stand on the Rock of Dunamase at sunset and survey all around. Gratitude to the bird that rose into the sky on the left hand side! 🙂

Sparrows in my neighbour's tree.

During cold weather, providing water in your garden is extra important. Be sure to provide it in a shallow dish – they want to stand in shallow water, not completely submerge themselves! – #BirdwatchIreland

I rose at 7am.

The rose sky rose two hours later.

Possibly the best 'book' Christmas present of 2024!

My alma mater @hotpress.com has produced a book of articles by Micheal D Higgins, written between 1983 – 1993. Of interest to those who lived those years & anyone looking to Ireland's past through a unique lens.

The 'wild coast' here is the Bull Wall, 6km from Dublin centre city. @nlireland.bsky.social @epaireland.bsky.social #ReViewingIreland #EPA_NLI_PiR
