Shifted gears from Zelda 3 Rando and returned to my roots with Golden Axe Warrior (SMS!) I beat three dungeons, stopped for now.
It's an overlooked but competent Zelda 1 clone, sits somewhere between that and Zelda 3. Also pretty hard, I have been eating shit for a living this morning.

my opinion on the Bad Bunny halftime show, and non-English music in general, is that i think a need to “be able to understand the lyrics” displays an embarrassing shallowness of the speaker to appreciate the voice as an instrument & to appreciate music as something other than a lyric delivery system

I have mass generated alttpr seeds twice now, then after only half a dozen seeds, feel I want to change settings again. Most seeds I only have to do a couple of bosses, never had to check sword pedestal, never entered Ganon's Tower. Also some seeds are very short. Wanna experiment but... nggh.

I never expected 2025 to serve me a deadass repeat of 2012, where someone I stupidly developed feelings for, fell for another mutual, and in both cases I knew both parties for years before they knew eachother.
I don't know if I articulated that cleanly, but it feels like a cruel joke.

I'm trying to expand on this, but it's proving hard. My original plan of dictating into my field mic didn't work out (my thoughts are most sharp when speaking out loud/standing up.) Though writing about it is also proving difficult without waffling, too. Will see. But this is a WHOLE thing.
This is an excellent thread, I could easily reply with one of my own, because it touches on struggles I've had for a long time. I may still do that, but because there's so much I'd like to say and it's such an important topic to me I wanna try something else first. Failing that, replies later (...)
