Before digital detectors, there was the bubble chamber and @fermilab.bsky.social had one of the largest ever built!
Filled with superheated liquid hydrogen, it revealed particle tracks as trails of tiny bubbles.
A photo could capture the invisible dance of particles for all to see!

The Particle Therapy Masterclass introduces high school students to one of the most powerful applications of particle physics: cancer treatment.

They learn how accelerators are used in hospitals, analyze real patient treatment data (anonymized), and discuss with physicists and doctors.
