I’m looking at our friend and colleague’s essay in today’s The Des Moines Register I marked what I think is Bruce Lear’s best paragraph, wherein I see his best line: Teachers need supportive colleagues willing to collaborate honestly.
Who knew Iowa had gained (only) 23,074 people in 2024 or that 19,439 of those migrated from outside the US? Not me, for sure.
I’m pleased the editors of The Gazette have pointed out the hypocrisy in the rightwing’s contagion of mass deportation.
