During the holidays I played a lot of table top games, but felt there should be a better experience keeping score for #fivecrowns

So I made Crowns Keeper!

Half of creating something new involves removing features you’ve already built for something that’s better.

I swear I've rewrote this one user flow 4 different ways, liking each better than the last.

Nothing says "athlete" like earning a Move goal by repeatedly testing workout APIs at desk. 🙃

Turns out, good sleep, proper self-care, caffeine, and doing work you love are the four pillars of a great workday.

Starting something new.

After nearly 13 years @ Apple, I'm moving on to build something of my own. Working on one main product idea, plus a couple side projects.

I'll also be doing some contracting work along the way when it's right.

Looking forward to the challenge and exploring where this goes.

I made Auralog because I was fed up with migraine apps full of forms and steps—the last thing I want when I’m in pain.

Effortlessly capture a migraine instantly—or later when you feel better.
Auralog brings you back.

I’m taking my life back, and you can too.

Had to age verify for Bluesky today. Immediately distrust these services/method of verification (SSN, Drivers License, etc)

Spent today harvesting and canning bits of the garden (cucumbers, tomatoes)

First time doing canning and it took all day because I was using kitchen equipment. Moving to my brewing rig next year.

Built out a quick demo (20 min effort) to parse data I've been collecting.

Providing just the URL and a quick web scrape of the source URL I'm getting decent classification of the websites.

Colorado has been hot for the past month, most days being mid to high 90s. This next 10ish days are predicting to be below 90 and it makes me SO happy.

Working from garage today, my dog is just sleeping in the front yard grass. She's basically flaunting that she has nothing to worry about and I admit I'm a bit jealous.

WWDC is an experience.

Connecting with folks from over the years, including some peers, and meeting new friends. Saw some of my team’s work celebrated

Love meeting folks from all over and discussing engineering.

Very happy to see the indie community gathering and sharing joy with one another.
