A work in progress of my two characters, Marcus the anthropomorphic duck man with stylized dreads at the front of his head while the back is square shaped in a apron, short sleeve shirt, jeans, and sneakers and scarf’s character, Hildie a middle aged poodle woman in a business coat, dress shirt with a tie , skirt and high heels. The setting is a diner where Hildie is pointing at Marcus with both arms raised up . Marcus:ma’am, I can assure you that when I asked if you wanted a doggy bag, I meant a to go box. Hildie:that’s the problem with your generation and your internets, and your click clack, and your nae naes, and your MP3’s, and your jpegs, your empathy towards others, and your “Doing the right thing “ and your big muscles and your blah blah My character SquareMan, as a young boy in a tank top, shorts and sandles. He’s wearing a bucket hat, and holding a fishing rod. A little cat is staring at the viewer as SquareMan stares at the viewer from the side. In the background is an old tree surrounded by a chain fence , with both of his friends. One is a young girl in fishing pants, short sleeve shirt, smiling and holding a fishing rod. Another girl in a yellow dress, holding a fishing kit, with curly bun with curly bangs. Looking back at the viewer. An anthropomorphic dog man is looking through a window that represents the monitor screen that he is looking into. Their attire inside of the screen is a wild out west aesthetic with cacti and a mountain in the distance. In the foreground: two cowboy robots aiming to fire their weapons at each other.the robot on the right is being controlled by the anthropomorphic dog man. My first illustration of a short series based on my OC, Squareman as he’s just born. It’s a black baby adorned with curly dark brown hair , swaddled in a red cloth, being held by his father’s hand who matches his complexion. It is the visual of first person perspective as we look at the baby laughing. The baby is surrounded by black star shaped creatures that float like hummingbirds around the baby.
