The study found that the vegan menu produced 46 percent lower carbon emissions, used 7 percent less water, and required 33 percent less land compared with the Mediterranean diet. The two vegetarian menus reduced emissions by up to 35 percent.

Sunflower Restaurant in Virginia. Odd flavors. The Japanese BBQ sauce tasted like peanut butter and the curry was salty. Oh well.

I have had “Hollycraft dragon’s breath“ saved in my eBay searches for about 15 years. One finally came up and it’s a bracelet from 1958. I wore it last night to accessorize with my colorful dress and purse. It has many of the littlest stones missing but you can’t tell unless you look closely!

I have had “Hollycraft dragon’s breath“ saved in my eBay searches for about 15 years. One finally came up and it’s a bracelet from 1958. I wore it last night to accessorize with my colorful dress and purse. It has many of the littlest stones missing but you can’t tell unless you look closely!
My first wedding anniversary... I love to coordinate fashion with accessories. Including a vintage Hollycraft bracelet from 1958.

I have a penchant for transcribing orchestral horror movie soundtracks on the piano, or that is, arranging them for piano and then transcribing them into sheet music. It has become a rather niche skill of mine over the years. Il Conte Dracula (the Jess Franco film, score by Bruno Nicolai) …

My newest instrument: a Michelsonne toy piano from 1960s France. Known as the Stradivarius of toy pianos, with a sweeter sound than typical toy pianos. 👍 The case was jammed shut when it arrived, so I had to take it apart to engage the keys.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to see a concert by an 80 year old music legend. Not an artist I would typically go see, but we were invited by friends who had won tickets in a silent auction. They were VIP box tickets with catered food, drinks, and comfy seats. Nice! #ericclapton #philadelphia

Back from a short trip to Philadelphia. I have seen LUHV frozen burgers at Whole Foods. Glad to find their actual food stand at Reading Terminal Market. “Crab cake” sandwich was good, but I didn’t like the garbanzo salad. Would go back and order other things!

Yes, vegans can eat at Uncle Julio’s. Veggie fajitas served with plain rice and black beans. Tableside guacamole is also good. And of course the margaritas… #vegan #whatveganseat

Cobra Cabana in Richmond, VA. Delicious #vegan options. The food is like comfort food, so certainly not very healthy but it sure was tasty! I had the fried tofu sandwich and the buffalo tofu sticks. Drinks are good too. Would come back if I lived anywhere nearby!
