Agree to all. I’m not usually a DC leaning person, but I did enjoy the new Superman. And the X-Men 97 is really well done, I just wish they would make a live action movie like this.

I love Marvel still. I’ve always enjoyed it way more than I’ve enjoyed DC. But I feel like they waited too long to start up the X-Men, and I’m still bummed how fox did such a poor job of it.

I wish I was smart enough to work in tech. But I don’t even know if it’s worth it to go to school for any of it if AI is just going to take it over one day. Things look really bleak for a lot of people right now. (I’m glad your job feels stable for the moment.)

I am pale like you and I always just apply a ton of high SPF sunscreen and I’m fine. I’ve avoided burning both in Bali and in Hawaii over the last few years. Spend more time in the shade or indoors fuckin the cuties down there.

I’m excited to see this, but I feel the same disappointment that they’ve made it more kid friendly. It doesn’t seem like the franchise to do that sort of thing. It would be like making a PG-13 Texas chainsaw.

I used to get contracts that were a year and a half long, now I am barely getting three month gigs. And with the threat of AI, it doesn’t seem very hopeful. (and I’m too old to start a labour job.) I hope things look up for a video games soon.(you are incredibly talented.)

My industry is bad and it doesn’t seem sustainable. I put so much schooling and time into becoming a storyboard artist, but there’s so little work. The thought of changing careers is daunting, I have no ideas what I would do at this age and not many other skills. Feeling stressed 😞
