Two of my OCs, Ketsuna and Vex, are married to each other. Now that I think about it, I don’t think I have any other OCs that are married, at least not currently. Maybe I can write a short story about their wedding (I’m in wedding planning mode rn anyway).

UPDATE: Knocked out my final round of edits/additions and just submitted it somewhere else. Fingers crossed that I get good news back! It could take up to six months, but I'm not in a rush with this piece. I'll be keeping an eye out for other publications in the meantime.

I thought that I hadn't written much this year. I just checked my wordcount tracker (I made on on Notion), and it turns out that I've written 11,954 words so far this year. That isn't much compared to how much I used to write, but I am glad that I am slowly getting back into it.

I haven’t thought much about holidays in my fantasy worlds, but I could totally see Ketsuna and Vex (her wife) celebrating the solstices and equinoxes, considering Vex is a witch. I could see them celebrating Mabon instead of something like Samhain or Halloween. I’ll have to think about this more.

I have a difficult relationship with my parents, but there was something comforting about telling my mom that I’ll be graduating from college soon and her going on a rant about how I need to start self-publishing books again and demanding that I write more. At least she’s supportive in that. 😅
