His scarf. Kain cannot leave without that teal scarf. It's the only thing Kain has left of his deceased first love Gwent, who was brutally ripped away from him by dragon hunters. If he misplaces it, he genuinely gets upset/distraught.

I think the most luxurious thing Kain really owns is a ornate metal teapot he decided to splurge on once. That thing is his favorite thing to brew his tea in. Nobody is allowed to touch the blue dragon's teapot. (Except for Deoraí because he trusts him not to break his things)

For Kain: not very good especially when it comes to his job at the archives. He's a bit of a workaholic and won't realize how much time is past until Deoraí or Enya find him at midnight, having forgotten to eat or take breaks.
